Centre Profile:  The Computer Centre was established in March ‘1997 during the implementation of IX the Five year Plan’. The Computer Centre is running a one year post graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) course from the current academic session (2008-2009). The Computer Centre is one of the 62 Centres in India for conducting the LIVE Lecture sessions in the “Virtual Classroom” setup under CEC-UGC EDUSAT Network. This is in collaboration. The Centre has organized many Computer awareness programmers, Computer literacy Courses, Summer/ winter schools for the teaching  and the nonteaching staff of the University. Beside the faculties of the Computer Centre are regularly taking P.G. and M.Phil classes in various departments like Ecology, Mass Communication, Social Work, Arabic, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Fine Arts, Life Science., Business Administration etc. In running theory and practical courses related to their regular computer papers. The Computer Centre is providing a Central computing facility to the students, teachers and staffs of the University for their project, dissertation and research related works.
